What we hope will a permanent home, at the Royal British Legion, Church Lane, Blandford Forum, Dorset, DT11 7AD. This is a superb Georgian style building tucked away behind the Market Place right in the town centre.
We have use of a lovely function room, with drinks available at the well stocked RBL bar. Prices are highly competitive and (according to John) beers are well kept.

Bude Folk Club
The Bude Folk Club meets at The Falcon Hotel, Bude,in North Cornwall, on roughly alternate Sundays throughout the year at 8pm.

Membership is free, but you do need to fill in a form - ask for one when you visit. This helps us keep in touch, should things change at short notice, assists us in mailing out information, when needed, and gets you £1.00 off our entry charges when we have a visiting guest artist .As a member you may also, on occasion, be asked to MC a club night or supply a raffle prize.

Entry on club nights is free, but we do run a raffle at each meeting to help pay for our occasional visiting guests, when we can afford them. We welcome both members and visitors to share Music, Song, Stories and on occasion Dances. .

The Folk Arts section contains information on traditional songs, singers' biographies, folk plays and historical folk events in the Wiltshire area. It contains many songs collected by Alfred Williams who also collected extensively in Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire. He also collected in that part of northern Berkshire which became part of Oxfordshire in 1974.
